Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Sequence, including the waitlist and the beta. By joining the waitlist or using the app, you agree to them. Questions go to hello@getsequence.app.

The beta

Sequence is in beta. Access is by invite, it’s free during the beta, and usage is limited (currently 3 uploads a week, up to 10 videos each). Features, limits and availability may change, and things will sometimes break. When paid plans start, we’ll tell you before anything is charged. Nothing is billed automatically.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Keep your password to yourself, and you’re responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person.

Your content

You own the clips you upload and the videos Sequence makes from them. You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the service to you. See the Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for having the rights to what you upload, and for following TikTok’s rules, TikTok Shop’s rules, and any brand agreements when you post.

Acceptable use

Don’t upload anything illegal, anything you don’t have the rights to, or content that sexualises minors, harasses people, or impersonates someone. Don’t try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service or get around its limits. We may suspend accounts that do.

No guarantees

Sequence is provided “as is.” We work hard on quality, but we don’t promise any particular views, sales, or results on any platform, and AI-written hooks and captions can contain mistakes, so check videos before you post them. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you’ve paid us in the last 12 months (during the free beta, that is nothing).

Ending things

You can stop using Sequence and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end the beta or your access, and if we do we’ll give reasonable notice where we can so you can download your videos.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll update the date above and tell account holders by email.
